Lowering springs!!

Hi I have a seat ibiza fr 15 plate I have installed rear lowering springs last night n we notice it has actually raised my car?! I just need to know if this is a normal thing to happen before the springs settle in there apex sport lowering springs 35 mm drop? If anyone has the answer it will be a massive help!!
