Ahh right..yeah remap will make it sound better which I should have mine done in a few weeks hopefully!
I get the whine normally but not noticed it in high revs..I'll have to get back to you on that one mate.

you have to pull it quite hard..dont worry, you wont break it...I thought that but its fine. If you've got a short stubby then yeah it just screws on. Ive got bad reception on mine but only on one station and thats capital but radio one is fine for me, plus I've got my ipod to listen to anyways so im not that fussed about it

Okay might be brave and give it ago :) do you have USB for your iPod? I only have aux and it's doing my head in. I really want iPod controls on the steering wheel with the jack that plugs into the bottom of your iPhone. I don't wana get rid of the headunit though as another one will look out of place.

Yeah I have a USB/aux on mine...what plate is yours? Some people have DD and it looks alright

Haha yeah they do seem worth it and i thought it was more then that so thats a bonus :p ahh whats wrong with the sound system mate?

Yeah ive trued removing it and the effin thing wont budge lol

Mine was 400 with fitting! :D...the aeriel, unscrew it then you have to give it a wriggle and pull at the same time..pull hard!...so much for anti theft aeriel ey!

£400 would be nice! But i doubt id ever get one that cheap :( yeah i tried that mate i seen a vid on here by someone doing that but mine really wont come out and i feel like im going to pull the hole thing out the roof even holding it down! I'll give it another go soon, would make a shite aerial thief haha
 
It's just not loud enough. When I turn it over half volume it crackles Abit. Its not bassy at all :( I ideally need a more powerful headunit and a subwoofer :p
 
Yeah i hate that mine has a rattle when its quite low volume :/ but my old ibiza was the same and i had new speakers fitted to no success so no idea what to do. A sub sounds a good idea though :)

When I went to the sound system place by me they said its the headunit and it's underpowered that's why it crackles :/ they said best bet was to replace the headunit and all our problems will be sorted
 
Hmm ill nip down the one near me soon see what they say its like a rattle on the bassy bit but only on low volume :/ ill let you know what they say pal :)

Hmmm that is strange :/ yeah let us know :) I'm tempted with a headunit next coz I'd love a decent sound system but I dunno weather to spend on something else like a spoiler
 
Will do mate :) yeah the spoilers are pretty smart I've got mine waiting to be fitted on the 13th along with the diffuser being sprayed gloss black cant wait :D but sound systems are always nice to have but I'm like you i don't want to change the head unit :/

I dunno weather to get side skirts aswell. They seems a lot for what they are so I dunno. I definitely want a spoiler :) let me know what the defuser looks like after mate :)
 
Yeah they aren't cheap! The spoilers a fair price tho imo. I will do pal :) will all be up in my RR thread when its all done :D hope they don't ruin the vinyl whole doing it though :/
