M.O.T time has come! what to check?

My mk3 Ibiza Cupra is booked in at VW for its M.O.T on Thursday.

What are the things I can check myself before it goes in?

I dont have a Haynes manual yet! Havent had the car long!

Haynes dont do a manual for the Cupra.

So what should I check? Obvious things like bulbs and levels etc, but what else?

lights, tyres, fluids, the exhaust...if thats all ok it should be fine these days Iv seen some stupid failures though

no i know, but any of the haynes manuals have a basic MOT checklist in the front of them suitable for all cars.
