So today I was on my way home from work and I had the pleasure of receiving a new warning light on my dashboard (along with the already MOT Failing ones) which happened to be an Engine Warning Light, once home I dug out my laptop and plugged into VCDS and it told me that I was the lucky winner...

whats the chance of my leon passing the mot with the decat on. What are you guys doing for your mots

My 1.9TDI FR 150 failed its MoT today. Looking at the paperwork, it was a fail on 'Plated Value', coming in at 0.84m-1 with a max permitted of 0.70m-1. I've got the car booked in to be looked at on Wednesday, but in the meantime I've had a few different bits of advice - from having the engine...

As above guys failed my mot today on high exhaust emissions... still not past yet They tryed replaceing the afr regulator never made a diffrance, lambdas are reading fine. Garage ran out of ideas, i only have a cat-back exhaust and the cat is looking a bit iffy so could the cat be fooked...

Just wondering if there's a way that I can get round having to put my cats back on for MOT really, as I really can't be fooked with them! I've got an APR switchable map, one of which is valet mode. I'm a total newbie to engine management and have no idea at all whether this is a stupid question...

Right, Cordy SX MOT yesterday... I have really looked after this car, fixed this, sorted that. Keeping an eye on everything inside and out. In otherwords, I know if its gonna fail on a "bulb"... This time, they failed it on "no rear driver brake light" then aparently it "sprung" back to life...

well the dreaded mot is at the end of the month with me owning the ibiza less than a year i have never gone thru a mot with her so im very nervous like when you see blue flashing lights in the rear view :) so is there anything i should check over before i send her away to be tested

Mine sailed through yesterday, emissions perfect with the Milltek TBE, cat in place. No issues whatsoever other than tyres being a tad on the thin side :whistle:

I have MOT booked tomo... just wanted to check one thing: My NS front light does not adjust (angle) when I move the adjuster on the dash. The OS light moves up and down, but the other stays put. Is this an MOT failure? Cheers
