Cheers - the lens has really cheered me up

I was practicing with shutter speeds on Sunday (so you get moving wheels, rather than static)
 
that's what I thought you had - d'oh!

I do need to get a decent lens for mine - only got cheap ones at the moment, and it's amazes me what difference they make!
 
It was depressing when I thought my camera was great, then I borrowed an L series. I knew I had to get one
 
Good glass always helps when taking photos. I'm really looking forward to going to a BTCC and trying out my new kit.

Great shots in there, but ( and I'm saying this because you'll really get good pics ) you need to get hold of a monopod and/or practice holding the camera steady. I'm sure the reason you're not 100% happy is down to slight camera shake, getting rid of that only comes with practice... Unfortunately I'm still learning that one too :(

Oh and if you don't have it already you need to buy the tripod collar for the lens, then you can get the monopod more in the center of the weight ;)
