These days, lots of things need power, even when you're not in the car. Like motion sensitive dashcams, mobile chargers, electric coldboxes etc. Annoyingly, on the Ibiza, when the ignition is off, so is the lighter socket.
Looks like it's really easy on the Leon: https://forums.seatcupra.net/index....12v-accessory-socket-permanently-live.402881/
Sadly not so simple on the Ibiza. Or is it?! Don't really want to get into hacking the electrical system or hardwiring things!
(Before anyone says "you'll flatten your battery", I bought the largest battery that'll fit in the holder, 70ah.
The most I'd be drawing would be the coldbox at 3.5A for a maximum of 6 hours, occasionally. Normally, it would just be charging a mobile etc.)
