Elises are awesome cars - go for it! Handling machines as well, more of a weekend car/second car as they are very basic inside.
What about the Exige? Even more of a track day car!
I was at a track day in Bedford a few months ago, and there was an elise with a 300bhp supercharged civic type R engine conversion. Was flying around, the conversion looked factory as well because it was such a good job.

well, i pretty much agree with what bazza said - the elise isn't all that bad - it's amazing for handling. you can really throw them around!!
but maybe an exige would be a bit more manly?? the exige just looks a bit meaner!!
