Lol what did you notice with no rear seats in lol. Very noisy lol! Looks better on the bracket front tho mate.

Sam

That it's easy to keep the misses away from the cupholder... hahaha ;)

The turbo whistle more, was okay until it rained and then sounded like the boot was open!

Been thinking about cleaning my egr and intake manifold for a while so finally pulled off the hose leading from it to see what I was dealing with. Not too good...

Experimented with some left over vinyl on the rear badge, but didn't like it that much:

Excuse the terrible photos and my dodgey rear lights, I had a light tinting fail and they went all cloudy for some reason. I've now polished them with the DA and they are super crisp :) so will get some photos when I've washed the car in the next few days

Tbh your egr looks pretty clean compared to mine when I cleaned it lol. Now I've deleted it it's such a better drive!

I like the badge but I don't if you get me haha

Sam

Did you clean your intake manifold too? I'm getting a new gasket for when I do it as it appears to be recommended to change it.

I know what you mean with the badge I'd been wanting to try it for a while. Don't think it helped that the red didn't match quite right and I rushed vinyling it so it wasn't perfect. It actually looked okay without the red from a metre or so away, but any further and it looks like a dark square which I'm not too keen on.

So you prefer a chrome square instead lol.

No didn't do inlet I didn't tempt fate on that, that's a pretty major component lol. Yea get the smaller gasket for yours too whilst your getting the mani one.

Ohhhh yea lol. Yea I don't know if I should brave the mani as leaving it off the block could lead to getting crud in your block! If I do I'll be soaking it in paraffin as its one hell of a messy job!!

I was going to attack mine with petrol and fire! There's lots of videos on youtube of similar techniques :)

Only took a few pictures due to having dirty hands (and arms!)

I managed to get the manifold out without disconnecting the EGR cooler from the coolant pipes or removing the main turbo pipe (although I did try it appears glued to the turbo lol) was a bit off a tight one though.

Bit too in your face that splitter IMHO Matt. Is that the secret idea splitter?

Nahh the one I was on about before is by Triple R Composites, they mainly do Fords:

But recently have done one for a Leon:

i like the splitter, bit of marmite but looks good :D

Thanks

It's placed over the top of the garage door seal thing so I'd sit it back further.

Put the espace splitter I had on my mates 207 and this is what it had as standard, but I thought it might look pretty cool upside down :)
