Shhhh It's a secret Matt lol

I'd encourage someone else to go and see if the Fiesta one fits lol, it's just south of Peterborough which is a fair trek from my home, I was going to go when I was at university as it was only an hour down a pretty tasty road :)

Haha well doesn't look like I'm getting one then if it's all the way up there.

If someone closeby goes and tries it for size then you can have it posted, that's what I'd do :) they are a bit expensive though so it would have to fit well for £62.50 delivered

Improving the seal of my windows today like in the thread in the mk4 section

They're a replica of the focus rs splitter, I've tried an rs splitter on mine.. But the curve wasn't such a good fit on an Ibiza.

 love your car man! got some great ideas just looking at yours!

Thanks

do you remember how much tint film you used for your lights?

Just looked on ebay I got 12"x 48" but that did 1 light twice and the side repeaters too with a bit to spare

Did some sound proofing of the rear arches and bit of the boot floor last week:

Not made a great deal of difference really

I sound deadened my entire floorplan when i had the ibiza and it made a big difference. I've still got an entire box of silent coat sound deadening lol

Sounds expensive! The roll I bought for £16.99 only did the wheel arches, boot floor and part of the spare wheel well :(

I was thinking of buying some carpet underlay as it's probably cheaper and its the sound isolation rather than deadening I need

It was lol. But a massive difference when i used carpet underlay too. I also did quarter panels, behind the quarter panel trim and the front door cards. Stuffed bootlid and quarters with insulation wool also lol.

i used the roof flashing tape to sound deaden my boot for my sub but doing the whole floor must add a whole lot of weight?

I worked out what it weighed in my old car and it was only 20kg, not that much. Roof flashing tape, as in lead?
