Passed MOT this week :)

Bit more done on the grill:

It's a bit darker than the other grills, but is what I had around from painting the insides of my wheels. Just need to give it a few coats of laquer to help protect it a bit from stone chips :)

Front grill looks well smart... was it as fiddly as it looks to do?

BTW did you have to disconnect your HIDs to pass ya m.o.t?

It was a pain yes lol

I took them out as it only takes me about 20 mins to do now, as I tuck the ballast inside the light unit and I didn't want the hassle of it not passing. I also have orange sidelights which I definately wouldn't pass!

Epoxy resin is a plastic bond where there is two tubes. When the two chemicals come into contact they react with each other and create a strong bond. Basically its a very versatile glue lol

Oh right. So could you use that alone to secure the grill or would you be better off glueing it on and then using the epoxy resin?

You could but it takes longer to dry, which is why I tacked it in place with sugerglue

cheers, I wasn't 100% sure on the size of the badge and the colour is slightly different to the other grills but it's growing on me.

Thinking of doing a V2 with the standard badge and bit where the badge clips in integrated into the mesh
