Hi guys
What do you recommend as the max offset when upgrading from 18 to 19” alloys. What have anyone of upgraded to?
Current set up is 225 40 18 with et of 51 with 7.5j.
Seen some alloys but they are 8.5j and et42.
Browsed through loads of comparisons and calculators, just need some real life advice
Thanks

The standard Cupra 19s are 8J x 19” ET50, with 235/35/R19 tyres.

The census of opinion is spacers 10mm/12mm/15mm on standard Cupra set up i.e. not lowered with majority on a 10mm front/12-15mm rear. This will give you a guide for the maximum you can go without rolling the arches.

A 10mm spacer would change above to 8J x 19” ET40 with same size tyres in the tyre calculator as your reference point. If you want to go to 8.5J you will need to add an additional 6-7 mm to ET to have same arch gap.
