had the unrecognised USB issue from day one, intermittently.
Never turned unit on or off with the knob - it just comes on with ignition.
tried 3 different USBs, including SanDisk, but always came back.
Moved all music to 32GB SD card and not had an issue since.
Although sometimes my passenger has to put her head in her hands when Pink Floyd comes on.....can't please evryone:)

What adaptor cable are people using ? Is it the official SEAT one they advertise in their accessories brochure - MITSUMI USB CABLE 7N5051510B £25 ? I take it the 5NO035558 one I see advertised everywhere isn't compatible with Leon's Nav/Media systems ?

I have the intermittent USB problem with the official Mitsumi cable supplied by SEAT as standard with the car when new, but I never have any problems at all with my 32GB SDHC card.

Incidentally, as far as I know, all new SEAT Leons with the Navigation/Media System Plus (in the Tech Pack) should be supplied as standard (as was my new October 2013 Leon) with 2 Mitsumi cables (1 for USB and 1 for the standard iPod connector).

Hope so - anyone confirm ? Was going to buy a USB one but at £25 and with problems mentioned SD card may be better - but if it comes free I'll give it a go !

Yup, both the latest Leon and Passat came with two cables, one USB and one standard Ipod connector.
