Hmmm

Ordered a set of Mintex Extreme Front Pads, using part number MDB2041X as per their website and also in agreement with the retailer, went to pick them up at lunch time, and they do not fit.

Edit: Just checked the website again, and this part number is the same for all 1800 T Leons, so it must be wrong.

Has anyone got the right part number. Seems strange !

Give 'em a ring before they close for business? Ask for some fitting tips.. Surely they've technies on site?

It would appear that the retailer has already done that and is none the wiser, doesnt sit well does it, that they dont know their own product. I thought £60 was a a good price, now i know why !

trace the pad sillohette and fax them it.
or get Ds2500s from someone who does know the difference ;)

I've just followed that first link, and when you chose the manufacturer as Seat and you then get the list of car models, there is 'Leon' listed and also 'Cupra R'

The Cupra R part number is different to that of the Cupra R listed in the Leon section when you select that.

I wonder if 'Cupra R' refers to the Ibiza or Leon Cupra R?

Got the Extremes on mine, from Awesome. Was told they were off the Focus RS too. Don't have any problems with them but do find them noisier than the standard pads......might be that i need new discs too though....

cliveyp if you've got a lip on the discs then that could cause the disc and pad to resonate.

Its more of a hum when braking hard, rather than a resonant vibration noise.

Will still do the discs soon though.
