Okay, so driving up the road earlier (LC), car starts to judder occasionally, then gets progressivly worse. EML starts flashing.

Luckily i had my computer in the car, the codes it read were P0303 - Missfire in Cyl 3

So i cleared it, still had the missfire mind....

Drove home later, car was really bad, almost undriveable.

I plugged it back into the computer it read:

P0300 - Multiple/random cyclinder missfire

P0301 - Missfire in Cyl 1

P0303 - Missfire in Cyl 3

Really could do with some help as need to get to work tommorow?

Are coilpacks common to go?
Whats the odds of 2 failing at once?

But what are the odds of two failing within a ten minute time period?

Ive got some coils off a mk4 golf (1.6 i think), they gonna be the same?

Alright mate, so them failing isn't related to any other mods, i.e, DV or ind kit?

i wont of thought so unless you have spiked the map unplug the maf and start it up or go for a drive not a long drive tho

rightio, so if its the maf thats shagged ,it should run okay with it unplugged?

It will eventually kill the cat as it will overfuel without maf.
Ive heard of people losing coils in pairs, often once one goes they all start to struggle.
