Hey peeps,

Both of the headlights on the Cupra are now misted up and look crappy!:censored:

As apposed to paying nearly £200 for replacements its been mentioned by a few people to heat them up to break the seal in the oven then reseal them, does anyone have a "how to" on doing this please? Ie temperatures or how long to leave them in there etc

Thanks

take the unit out remove the bulbs and use a hair dryer if u want quick results. then go around the seal with some black silicon.

or for temp measure leave your full beams on for 5mins before setting off, they get hot as ****

one of mine is misting but i cant be bothered. in the coming months il be using my headlights all the time so the lights will demist it

Mine both did after i fitted some new indicator bulbs, took all bulbs and holders out aprt from main beam and switched main beam on for a while, it slowly went, then refitted bulbs, all is fine now...doesnt steam up.
