hi all .most know i transplanted a forged r32 turbo 4wd .but due to new arrival .and cost of running it had to come out ..so i thought id throw 2.0 16v tdi in do away with all the eccessive wireing crap .removed immo.andcoded some crap out of the ecu .ie abs.steering.aircon.cluster faults etc .modifyed mounts into car .and piped it up after a few days were all up and running was on stock gt1749va turbo 140bhp .and used smaller wheels plus modifyed a higher tdi 6speed box and belhouseing to keep 4wd too(be winter soon lol) then fancyed more so modifyed a pd 170 turbo and fitted a gt2052v codeside and fairly inpressive .but limited as i maxed stock injectors.so sure these will squeeze more ive decided to make a start on a manifold and add a bigger turbo .plus upgraded race nozzles.hopeing maybe inpressive .might just be me exspecting too mutch from a diesal compaired to the r32 lol but ill give it a try .if anyones after turbos ive got 3mint gt1749va from the bkd 2.0 engine .1 modifyed pd170 or can refit oringal houseing.also a gt2256v from a bmw .i was going to gt2260vk but these arnt upto lasting boost .so bigger we go .all fun stuff .few engine pics

That'll be quite a mover once it's finished I'd have thought!

R32 blocks are expensive to keep replacing too I'd think

The tdi engine is easly tuneable and won't disappoint at all once some money is put into it lol
And the 4 wheel drive will help when putting the high torque down :)

These tdi engines can be very nippy lol my pd160 stage 1 Ibiza Cupra tdi makes a lot of people think what the hell goes that qwick with that much smoke lol.
It's the torque levels of the tdi Engine that make it go well.
To behonest with the pd engines If u have the money there is no reason why it carnt be quicker than a petrol there is a few people on hear running 280 bhp plus out if there pd160s and pd 150s :)
