Mk1 Leon 1.9 TDI FR (ARL) Coolant capacity

i am have the Timming belt/water pump done soon, what i need to no is how much G12 coolant do i need as they come in 1.5Lt only from what i have seen, basicly what is the cooling system capacity and it is 50/50 mix yes?



i also seen this Motul gear at opie http://www.opieoils.co.uk/p-903-mot...ng-liquid-anti-corrosion-and-anti-freeze.aspx any good? or just stick with VW g12 coolant?

2 bottles will be more than enough.

so dump 2 1.5 Lt in then top up with water for a full drain, job done? was going to give the guy doing the cambelt/water pump thursday 1 bottle and then top up with water , i did get 2 from seat though so i have one at hand.

yeah when i did our old golf i got two bottles.

thanks all , car is in now for the cam kit change (gates) and give the bottles as well, had it up on the ramp and one of the cv boots has ripped so that will get changed, must of only just gone as the car was in for an mot on the 12th/5 and passed but that was the garage that sold the car, may need an "o" ring on the inter-cooler pipe but other than that it is mint underneath.
