The LED boot light looks epic! Ive had an idea in my head for awhile doing something you dont normally see. Soo may suprise people in a few weeks when i get it right and if it works well...

Ah ok like I say very nice motors have a soft spot for the mk1's my first seat was one very similar to yours but kept it standard none the less it was a great car. Only real issue I had was the common footwell leak.
I've only just come across that. The cabin filter hasn't been changed in ages and it's clogged up and blocking the drain. Next job on the list then.
Defiantly mate better to do a prevention rather than cure.Mine was a nightmare let loads of water in all of a sudden one day with no hints of a leak.
I get this quite abit :-( i notice the water stays under the doors quite abit and once opened it floods out...
