I have had some knocking and a rattle coming from the front off the car lately so with no work on Friday with it been a bank holiday went into work to investigate where the noises was coming from and found I need ne lower arm rear bushes and a nearside rack end and the short bolt on the dog bone mount had come loose so had to retap it and clean it out and put a new bolt in so it would stay tight and have ordered so upgraded bushes for the lower arms
As I was under the car I found a leak on the clutch pipe to the release bearing so I had to get a o ring for that so when the new bushes turn up that’s my job todo
So that’s means the tracking needs doing again oh joy I must do the tracking a few times each year when will it end lol

Got a new one I’m not going to fit if you’re interested (going a different route)

Also, curious about your hybrid turbo and contemplating for mine (not sure when n if it’s worth it)

Is the splitter a cupra r one or different one ?

The turbo is a std one with hybrid internals not had a problem with it

On the original ecu it was 199 Bhp
On the ecu from the Parts car that was stage 2 map from amd is 212 bhp but had had it on a rolling road and got it fine tuned to the turbo
Not bad from a pd150 tdi

Sorted my little knocking noise out
Fit some new drop links and also packed out the anti roll bar d bush on the drivers side so no more knocking now
