Mk2 Golf 20vt Conversion

Im trying to find out if anyone did a conversion ona 1990 G reg 3dr black mk2 Golf, the car currently is running a Ibiza Cupra R engine with KO3s, and a revo remap, it has the complete wiring loom, dash, steering and interior seats fitted as well as the gearbox it seems.

About to invest in this car.

You say invest £3500 in a 23 year old car.

Unless you don't intend keeping it long it can only end up as a money pit, either fixing the 'old' bits, or repairing the ageing 1.8T, or maintaining the 'conversion' aspects of it.

Eyes wide open, but it's "cheap" compared to what I've seen similar offered at

+1 but you can get cupra r for less now seems mad , if you want trackk monster, buy the cupra r , and strip it bare inside and will be just a quick as that

itresting they have fitted the cupra dash in too , i would of fitted a tt dash instead
