• Hey Guest💡👉 We have recently launched our new Dealer Directory and review service Find out more now
Well fitted the 17's (which are hideous) with the winter tyres. Cuts down in road noise a lot compared to the 19's.

Also what a difference a set of tyres make. Went up a random mountain road today to test them out. Road had been cleared by a tractor, so was basically ice. Could stop on the hill and take off no bother, as well as stopping almost like it was a clear surface. So id definitely recommend winter tyres lol.

What is the name of that alloys, were they resonably cheap?

hey mate car is looking amazing how much was the lights upgrade and the steelers and how much did you pay for the wheel refurb i wont both doing on mine lol

The wheels I got where 2nd hand. I got them for £100 and put a full set of winter tyres on them.

I paid £150 to get the wheels sprayed. That was tyres off, sprayed and tires back on/balanced. Its a guy that owns a tyre place that does refurbing as well. I didn't think it was to bad for a set of 19's.

I paid £400 for the lights and coding at the dealer.

Have you got a RR thread of your R Phil?

Bought the led front and rear lights you recommended. Spot on! Cheers for the links! :)

Titanium code

Hi,

The color of the rims are wicked :D
Did you color them as the RS4 wheel = titanium grey with color code 8AU?
Please let me know.
Thanks!

Titanium color

H,
I have just sent my rims to a professional poder coater exclusivly for aluminium rims (biggest in Sweden).
The color will be the AUDI Titanium grey (RS4 rims) with color code 8AU. However mine will be gloss, wWill look great on my speed blue Cupra R :D

I will upload picture when they are mounted on the car (lowered with H&R), but it will take at least 2 months before the wheater allows me to do that.

Standard UK exhaust

Hi,
I would like to know the part no. For the standard UK model exhaust for the Cupra R.
The diffusor is known.
Thanks
Robert

Robban take a look at this thread.

PM Dave he should be able to get you the part number, I think the Cupra R exhaust is made by Remus.

Im guessing your not from the UK?

you will probably struggle to get the Exhaust in europe as the part number is a SEAT UK part number

In the past me and dave have had discussions about european parts, SEAT UK wouldn't allow him to order

BTW Dave is off work at the moment aswell

Thanks for the info.
Since the prices in general for accessories and parts is lower compared to Sweden, I would most likely purchase from the UK.
Otherwise I will go for the Milltek system = 3" pipes are quite tempting I must say ;).
Got the supersprint (complete system) on my MB SLK but I have told myself to be gentle on the Cupra

I personally would go for the Milltek. With the standard Cupra R Remus exhaust. The back box is visible from behind the car. It seems to sit down very low. That the main reason I put a Milltek on :)

Considering selling up soon. Fancy a change. Considering whether to take the LED tail lights and exhaust off before hand :-S. Dont think a dealer will offer me anymore with these on

What you going to replace it with? I am still no further forward now mine has been home almost 2 months!

Im really considering factory ordering a new Ibiza Cupra. Don't really need the Leon anymore. Drive this most days
