hi, im bored so wondered if anyone has any pics of a mk2 gti lowered on FK's around 55mm/80mm? thanks

80mm - don't be daft.

I would only drop 80mm if on coilovers, and even then wouldn't want to drive it on the roads. 40mm is a nice height to drop, but even I suffer, and scrape in multi-storeys and getting into my garage!

thanks for the help, i have a set of coilovers sitting in my garage not doing anything, supposed to have a guy interested in them, but he hasnt got back to me, so was considering just fitting them.. they are adjustable 55mm or 80mm..

Here's a few pics of mine lowered on FK Highsports, still got the inner arch just had to cut it a bit.

Knocked the lip on the arch up myself (carefully) it rubs on full lock and sometimes rubs on the front when hitting a bumpy road. I have a few big speed bumps around my area, as long as you take your time it's fine.

deff not a photochop mate i took the picture myself.. could just be the angle? wasnt saying you was saying anything bad but if somthing looks wrong on my car id like toknow so i could get it sorted.... i cant seem to see anything wrong today when i looked close up? what do i look for to see if they are wrong?

Heres mine dropped either 80 or 100mm (cant remember!) on H&R competition spec adj coilovers, with 215/35/18 tyres..

2 inches were cutt off the arches for the 18s to have a snug fit with the ammount it's dropped.... still gotta go at the arches underneith and tidy it up a bit more..
