I started at about 11am on friday, i dont have any during pictures cos it started to pour with rain just as i started.

I started with some carwashnwax citrus snow foam with a little Maxi Suds II in. I left it to sit while i got my buckets ready, I washed it with Maxi Suds II today (first time ive used it) with a lambswool mitt. So the SF was rinsed off then washed with maxi suds and rinsed this off (not that it needed much rinsing with the rain). I went over my wheels with APC and a little bit of Wheels Brightener with a swissvax wheels brush and Polishedbliss long wheel brush.

The Arches were sprayed with Super Degreaser (4:1) and agitated with a brush. The tyres and door shuts cleaned with SuperDG 10:1.

The car was all rinsed off again then moved in the garage and dried with Sonus Der Wunder Drying Towels and a Megs Watermagnet for the shuts/wheels.

I had only clayed the car about a month ago, but i decided to do it again just to be safe.

I then taped up the car ready for polishing

After some tests i decided to go for Menzerna IP 3.02 on a cutting pad. As usual with silver i couldnt get any 50/50 shots to come up, but i managed a little before and after.

Its great :D Took all the dust away nicely.

After this i went for Lime Prime Lite on a Megs MF applicator. Left it for a few minutes and buffed off with a Eurow towel.

then treated the door/boot jambs to Jeffs Prime Strong.

Then came CG Blitz spray sealant, and if you read my other thread about this, then you'll know it didnt go on that great, but it all worked out in the end and got a great gloss from it.

I left the Blitz to cure for an hour or so and sealed the wheels with Poorboys Wheel Sealant then watched the F1 qualifying i had recorded.

Then moved onto the max, which was Victoria Concours applied by German Applicator then removed by Eurow Towel.

Thats the end of day 2 at 10pm

I was started again by 10:30 on sunday i had to be done by about 12 as i had band practice at 1 :doublesho

Firstly i treated all exterior trim and tyres with CG New Look Trim Gel, then the window seals with Swissvax Seal Feed which worked and absolute treat, i love it :D

I then sealed all the exterior glass with Carlack glass sealant kit then interior glass with Megs NXT glass cleaner.

Once that was done it was time for another coat of Victoria Concours, but not before another shot of the lovely duster.

thats me done by just after noon. Sadly i totally cocked up the after photos outside (i forgot to change the Whitebalance from fluorescent to sun :wall: which i didnt notice until i had hte photos on my computer. so i took some more just now after ive been down the bypass, so its all covered in suicidal flys.

the change isnt HUGE but its certianly alot clearer then before, im very happy with my first attempt. My dads already wanting me to do his swirl-tastic Impreza STi so ill probably have another write up in a few weeks.
