Secondary water pump could be the fuse, 30A on far right side of the battery fuse box

Even if it looks intact try a new one anyway, same happened to mine

Good progress by the way, engine build is something ill probably do after next years track rapings

tried to fit my coil pack cover and it seems to be fouling on the rocker cover (part circled in red) making it not sit properly!

rear engine and gearbox mounts now ordered from badger5. (should arrive in the week). decided to try the solid front mount from the guy that makes them on club gti but still trying to get hold of him!

engine should be going in next weekend! also need to extend the throttle body and air intake temp sensor wiring at some point.

Looks great mate one thing I will add is that catch can is no good unless it has 19mm inlet and out lets ? Looks to me like the 15-16 mm one which will not help the car to breath

yeah it helps alot getting parts at trade prices lol im doing mine myself but get the odd hand from my brother now and then

got my smoothed bumpers done by an airbrush artist and fibreglass specialist who works next door to where i work so did it for quite cheap! front and rear cost about £120 and then got them sprayed for free by another mate! think he fibreglassed them but have got a couple of cracks in it now so will have to get him to sort it out. looks so much better imo

o right. cheers for pointing that out mate. think they are the 15 or 16mm ones. can i just buy the in/outlets on their own or would i need a whole new catch tank??

Just use 19mm hose and it should be fine

Use tiny bits of the hose supplied to put on the inlets on the tank then put the 19mm hose on the inlets, the 19mm hose should be a tight fit on the inlets then

Thats what most people on here have done

Try breathing through a straw and see how it is that's what the cars feeling people only do that because the 19mm cans are expensive , at the min I'm not running a can at all and its coming strait out the rocker cover vented to the floor at the back of the engine Waiting to pick my 19mm can up tho ,

Running bt set up I would not be causing the car to have breathing issues

Are you keeping the current battery mounted fuse box or gonna get rid? I've been trying to find a decent alternative but no luck so far...
