Collected my ibiza cupra r a few months back was looking just for the cupra model after previously owning a red cupra but once I came across this with there only being 42 on the road in Britain I couldn't resist isn't perfect but i want a car I can spend time on.
The cars currently running the k04 set up with a safe remap by ecotune glasgow. 260 BHP 300lb/ft torque doesn't feel aggressive atall. Got a very long list of things to do/sort out on this car so its going to be a working progress.

Uprated Mahle Pistons - to be proven
K04 Turbo
Forge 008 dump valve
Front mount intercooler
4bar fuel pressure regulator
440cc injectors
n249 bypass
Stage 2
Full Scorpion system + sport cat
Seat Sport front upper strut brace
Sachs clutch
Lightened+balanced flywheel
Lowered 60mm springs and shocks
263bhp 303lb/ft
Quaife lsd - to be proven

Here's a pic of the bay very messy right now but I'll be starting to tidy it up soon to make a nice clean engine bay

One of the first things I done was get the intercooler painted as I'd prefer not to draw unwanted attention with a big silver thing showing through the bumper! so bumper off and intercooler off it was....

Now looking a lot better.. Will get a photo up when I get one.

Get rid of the secondary air injection (SAI) and you can tidy the vacuum lines up more.

Better TIP will makes it loads better. If you can afford and make the badger5 TIP fit Defo go for that one.

What MAF you running? Or don't ya know?

The turbo intake looks like a standard Ibiza one?

yeah I plan on getting a good tip as in all honestly the previous work done is all a bit rough, going to get the LCR charge pipe to much neater. Just need to read up on a lot of this removing stuff out the bay before I attempt it. Unknown what maf its running I'll try identify it next time I'm under the bonnet.

could not tell you about the turbo. no clue on how to check the diff. the mechanic I use told me when he jumps in to drive it he'll know right away if it is or isn't. when the car gets taken to stage 2 REVO instead of ecotune to get the real performance from the turbo I'll be doing rods and Pistons but for now it's not top of the list as there's other bits to sort before going all out on power. I want the car to be a great car to look at to.

For the diff, jack both front wheels up off the ground, spin one wheel forward and the other wheel should spin the same way aswell, if it does you have a LsD.

You need a proper custom map for a k04, generic revo stage 2 won't be good enough, fuelling would be all over the place as the Ecus are different for the 225 cars.

I'd have look at turbo and see how many bolts hold the down pipe on, 3 or 4. Or get a pic

Thanks for the advice chambers will look into it.

Seeing as my interior was looking tatty I thought I would get it stripped out and painted along with roof lining, use to be a spray painted and still spend my weekends doing it so wasn't a problem. Roof lining got fabric paint so is still fairly soft.

Found a little surprise when pulling the lining out to.

Hey pal car looks sweet. I don't wona piss on your fire. But that's a forge split-R valve not a 008dv and its looks more like a ko3 set up on that. Grab some pics buddy if anyone can help its me an chambers.
Just a little heads up that kinda power.get a good i tank pump in it not a 4bar that will make an old weak pump work harder. Don't mean to sound like a ****

Appreciate your help mate I've already found stuff that isn't what it claims to be on the car unfortunately you get some nobs out there. I've always wondered about the turbo to but I never thought a k03 could produce the power. I have a printout for the remap and its running the same boost as the car 0.9bar its an ecomap

Nice looking motor mate. Shame if it turns out not to be as you believed but chambers or mc gunboat will keep you right.

I've got a 4 bar pump sitting here that I no longer need if your interested, got it off chambers a whole back but never used it. ;)
