MK3 Leon Cupra, what we know

Just checked out the second link and was it just me or is it a bit odd to have two different tailpipes, 1 is perfectly circular while the nearest one is slightly oval with a divider down the middle
Looks nice, however FR badges and translated "SEAT Leon sport outfit".

What do you think about brakes in the picture? For me the front brakes don't look like FR. Pretty similar to mine (2010 Cupra R) with 19" rims...

Good find. Although we won't be seeing the R any time soon. Interesting if we see something at Frankfurt. SEAT had said they didn't want to steal the ST's thunder at the show.

SEAT LEON CUPRA R
Also of the new SEAT Leon Cupra it will again be an R variant.
The Cupra will be equipped with a 2.0 engine with 280 hp and 380 Nm. It can choose between manual and DSG.
The concept car of the Leon Cupra R, you can survey ever at the IAA 2013 in Frankfurt before it appears in their dealership.
Another stab at the All-track/Freetrack market no doubt. 400 or so registered Freetracks in the UK since its introduction.
Looks unlikely the Altea will be refreshed, so makes sense to make it a flavor on the ST

Yup, it's been on the cards for ages - in a Skoda Scout / Audi All road type affair. Expect beige driving rather than performance!

I guess we will all have to wait and see if it does become available in 4WD. Hopefully they get the nod to do it.
