Thats a great price for the winter and leather!

The 265 is looking really unappealing for a number of reasons now.

Yep can't see why anyone would bother with the 265 unless they were being tight. Can't wait to have a look at the 280 DSG when they come out :D

That is the official price list. This makes me think the the R when released and IF in AWD version will be roughly 30K for the SC? Just a guess but would be a bonus if it were.

Well I just can't make myself like the Cupra, and I think Seat have made a boo boo with their pricing strategy. I got a dealer quote and with my options it came to 30k with a pitiful discount. Golf R ordered.

Golf R from the brokers is about 9% discount.... SEAT will need to keep that in check with their dealers

What is the main thing you don't like about it Ryan?

Firstly the pricing is just too high. Do Seat think they can compete with Audi, BMW and VW, obviously they do. I for one think they should have stayed in that middle ground and consolidated their market share. Secondly, It's just uninspiring to look at. Granted, Seat can't please everyone and personal taste is just that..personal. Hope it turns out to be a great car but I'm looking forward to owning a performance 4wd car for the first time.

What puzzles me is that they should be complementing each other and not competing. As they're all part of VAG.
At 28k, you're starting to talk S3 money. And let's be fair; a Leon is no S3 :)
