MK3 New Leon? SEAT SOUND ? options?

I have the standard sound system and agree with others..it is simply amazing..I had two BMW's previous to my Leon with upgraded Harmon Kardon systems and a Mazda 6 with Bose before that. It is on a par with the Beemers and better than the Bose which was very boomy and lacked treble.. I can only think the Seat Sound System just gives bigger bass sound..but the standard one is bassy enough .

I would second that, standard system sounds great to me and has plenty bass.

I had the car for an afternoon and it had the standard set up, but sounded great, I too had a couple of cd's, one rock and the other paloma faith (don't ask ). The quality was as good as I've heard in a car, and much better than my neighbors Mk11 Leon, so I didn't add that option to my 280.:D

I opted for the sound pack on my FR and glad I did. The sound quality is fantastic. Extremely loud and very basey from just a small subwoofer. Have a play around with the manual eq settings to get the sound that suits you

and I have it loud too......
BTW - 3000 miles, no probs. At all......build quality? Absolutely fine.

Rep Leon is on hold seeing as Local Dealers not interested in a decent CASH Deal for New Car...
The Mk1 has plenty life left in her yet.... only 88k & 9.5yrs old.
Don't think id bother with that Bass extra now ive heard folks views.
Factory Sound Setup in mine is spoton aswell.

Rather than starting a new thread, i thought id ask this in here as its related.....

Ive just seen that the MK3 FR has extra speakers fitted as standard, does it make it any better than the non-FR and are there any other differences?

I guess it does otherwise SEAT wouldn't go to the bother of fitting the extra 2 speakers in the FR over the S and SE models. If there were other differences I'm sure the brochure would state it.
