Believe it ir not mate i used babywipes but a damp cloth will do then leave to dry or dry off with a hair dryer

I have been using a damp cloth funny enough
The only probs I have got is that the chemical
Metal goes off so quick it's unbelievable and
Don't ever mix it on a cardboard box as it gets
Very hot
Do I have to etch primer all of the whole wheels
Or just over the repaired areas?
Then prime the rest or not?

I didnt use etched primer never have and its been fine, i mixed my chemical metal on cardboard lol never noticed it get hot. Hope youve took some before and after pics??

What colour seat sport stickers would look best
With graphite grey wheels also need the oz stickers
And I'm after the seat centre caps any part numbers

Well I have had to getmore sheets of
2x80 grit
2x120 grit
2x240 grit
And I have topped up more filler for a better look
So far time take 6hrs preped and now ready for
Etch primer

The proper seat sport stickers are the ones that read with the writing facing outwards if you know what i mean? Say the stickers is at the top of the wheel when your parked then it'll be upside down lol

Yea found some on the bay u wreckon red ones
Would be best for grey I was thinking either
White or gold

Silver the car colour is but also my calipers
Are red and the silicon hoses in the engine
Bay are red.
Also do u think it is best to put the stickers
On after the colour has been applied and then
Laquer over the top of them?

Yeah proply as thatll give it a more oem finish thats what i never did. As your extras are red id go red.

Just sprayed 2 rims in ford graphite grey
And I'm very impressed so far look the dogs

Might have a go at the standard starfish rims after
But don't know what colour to do them in
Maybe black what you think?

Fillering and sanding stage

2 coats of etch primer

Next 3 coats of standard primer

Next the colour 3 coats of ford graphite grey

Now just waiting to apply seat sport stickers
And oz racing then I can lacquer over the top
I'm impressed with what I have achieved happy
Days ))
