Mk4 facelift steering wheel controls

Driving home from work in the dark earlier and realised that the steering wheel controls don't light up. Its never occurred to me before but noticed that the mk2 fl Leon's wheel lights up, does anybody's ibiza steering wheel controls light up?

Don't light up, I asked the same question about a month back as I have a leon too.

Nope they are just rubber buttons.

Bit like why our centre information panel between the clocks is just a bank of warning lights.

Hmmm wonder how tricky the mod would be?... Red LED's behind the wheel controls.
Yeah that info panel is a waste of space, should have been an onboard computer!

I have multifunction buttons that I bought from a leon mk2 to do the mod, I fitted them but realized they need coding in with vag com so I switched them back to standard buttons, if your interested let me know and we can sort something out.

There was a guy from somewhere in Europe ages ago who modded his to light up. Although it would look cool, I don't look at the controls anyway as I know where they all are, it's like a game controller

If I rem correctly my Polo had a locking flap on the central looking. It was just a steel pin which came out into a plastic slot, very basic. Can say I miss it though.

It also had heated mirrors and I deffo miss them

Krussel if you have the facelift cupra you already have the heated mirrors Mine does
