New to the site and I have recently just bought a 2002 Ibiza sport 130
Was just wondering what was different from the sport,fr and cupra.
I can see the cupra has different bumpers and is 160
Pd engine.
Thanks

For the hell of it.

FR and sport are pretty much the same, was just facelift style wise and rebranded.

Cupra has
bigger air intake
bigger turbo (same as PD150)
Shorter ratio gearbox
Front mounted intercooler on cupra, side mounted on FR
312mm brakes with AP 4-pot calipers on cupra
Different suspension
solid console bushes

jeez...not again, i swear this thread turns up every week...

anyway, do a quick search and it should crop up a few times

Have to agree with you, i'm sure when i first started i posted up some stupid threads or ones that could be searched for easily, but i had never been a member of a forum before so knew nothing about them at all. We don't want to scare members away ha ha...
