mk7 polo seats?

hi people,

i've got my eye on some mk7 polo seats, has anyone tried fitting these before? is it possible?? any help would be great

Not entirely sure tbh, why would you want to? Are you from chesterfield or did you buy your car from there sure Ive seen it before?

yeah i bought it off a guy from chesterfield, they are cream leathers, i reckon getting the door cards retrimmed & maybe the dash would look awesome!

I think the mk4 polo seats fit straight in, but imagine the mk7 ones shouldnt be too bad, you could just buy new subframes if not

MK3 Ibizas accept MK4 & MK5 Polo seats, whereas the MK4 Ibiza can accept MK6 & MK7 Polo seats.

You'll need to mod the subframes to get 'em in, by quite a lot!

yea its very scarey how much you need to modify the subframes... i had to turn down a set of MK4 seats due to this problem.

The subframe is similar to the TT ones, but not the same. The seats bolt to the floor at the side whereas the MK3 seats have one bolt and guides in the floorpan.
