Hi Robert.
Dump valve is a big no no on the 1.8T engines.
The best mod is a remap

This is what you want to look at.
The best for your car would be the Diverter Valve.
We reccomend the Forge one.
If you would like the noise of the dump valve you could always go for a CAI
This would help.
Looks nice too as we use a Stainless one with a nice big Green Cotton Filter on the end.
Best way for engine mods.
