Cheers both! This settles it for me. No backbox delete :D

While we are on the topic of GPF Cupras and you guys know a few owners. As VW changed all post-WLTP cars (Golf R, S3, Cupra, Gti) from a dual port injection (MPI) to a single direct injection setup, did any of the owners noticed or reported any carbon buildup ? It is supposed to be a far bigger concern on single direct injection engines.
Not sure enough time has passed for people to do enough mileage to worry about that. Plus, shouldn't this be reduced by decent fuel, that these cars should be run on anyway.

Some say it may be noticed even after 30k miles. So i don't know. I always put 100RON in my car so this might delay it a fair bit. Also the car must be driven hard from time to time :)

I think drone is very subjective.. I have a cupra 300 st 4 drive with a vagsport res delete and dont have an issue with drone.... Only drone i hear is kids in back seats joking aside i think it depends what people are used to. I had a custom cat back system on my superb mk3 2.0tsi 220hp and that had 2 resonators offset to reduce drone and that droned way more than my cupra
