Ive heard that the cone filters can sometimes cause problems with diesels so i think im going to go for a panel and get prices for a lower brace this week or next, whever I have a chance. So the backbox is a fair restriction on a diesel? Wasnt aware of that.
Is there any chance that someone could post a pic of the lower s3 brace fitted? Has anyone got any idea of the price of the top brace and is it a nightmare to drill and fit?
Did a search on here for brakes so Im going to look around for prices and maybe ring some brakers for carriers. Just wondered if theres much difference between fitting grooved disks or standard 312mm disks performance wise?

The upper brace can be a pain to fit so I would use rivnuts which make things easier as you don't need to get under the car to faff around starting nuts in impossible places. Drilling is pretty easy.
I've got drilled and groved makes a bit of noise under braking but nothing thats too bad.
