APX is an engine code used in some TT's

looks cheap compared to the forge / siliconhoses.com one

APX = lhd 4x4 leons + mk4 golfs limited run of apx's around in europe

the ply beading will be alot thinner than the forge one
so its wont be as strong

I wouldn't mind a cheap TIP.
I still have a standard TIP that's been cut to fit the metal Jabba elbow into the IHI. Seems a waste to buy a Forge item only to chop it up.
IIRC it's the elbow end that's the weak point and I wouldn't be using that, just looking for somthing to tidy up my engine bay??

AFIK the THS one is same ply as forge one with reinforced corners (unlike HK ones, which have same ply too but lack reinforcing)

Just found the Samco hose has an RRP of £90, fair bit cheaper than Forge.

Europerformance have it for £95 inc VAT
