MOT tomorrow

the ibiza has its MOT tomorrow at 9am sharp. lets pray it passes or i will have no car

it has failed on 2 brake pipes, costing me £75 for new ones to be fitted. other than that everything else is fine

thats not too bad, mine needed some new brake pipes for its MOT too, i gues on cars of this age they are almost certain to find something even if it is small

I had my MOT done the other day. Passed with flying colours, even though my ABS light was on. Not sure if thats a good thing or not lol!

mine's just been done...two new abs sensors and a clutch...had to put the standard wheels back on as well. not bad though!

mines passed just advised to tighten up my ball joint, mines is an M reg!!:

Tighten a ball join ? maybe u mean rear wheel bearing ? ... £75 for 2 brake pipes seeesshhhh, cost me £7 for a roll of pipe make my own jobs a good un lol ...

Mine went straight through, no advisories at all. T reg, 92k miles, and I rag it everywhere.

There's no substitute to having a well maintained car!

mines a 96 N reg with 94k on the clock, the engine runs smooth. im glad it has passed its mot

I'm glad I know the MOT man sometimes. £75 for a brake line though!!? Is that a Brake Hose or Brakeline? Can understand the latter but not for a hose, They're like £8!

the copper pipe is what they have done but if i had the tools i wouldof done it myslef as im a trained mechanic now and that was part of the sylibus to do brakepipes

clutch cost me £180 fitted, and got throught the MOT with only the need for three brake lines at £30 each, with a free retest. so now, to the auto trader she goes.

sylibus? no offence but im assuming you got some nvq from college? try doing mk2 golf brake pipes at 5 on a saturday when everones gone home and all the unions are fooked...lol

my MOT is tuesday.. 31000 ish on the clock, i reckon it will walk it but if it does fail ill use the Golf till november lol
