I see the new "improved" MOT that is being rolled out after the consultative committee has finished thinking about it on the 27th, will now include confirming that the reg plates are exactly to the letter of the rules that govern them - and they can not have any fancy "any speed camera" backings or coatings on them - oh the maximum price creeps up to £54 at the same time!
