AndyVTR, how many miles onyour car before you could get 50mpg+?
I think 600 is about the most I could manage at the minute with Venting, only 7K miles on my clock, expecting it to get better....

35,000 miles and mine averages 42mpg. Not as frugal as I hoped but I don't hang about!

Mine averages around 40mpg overall - just passed 30000 miles. Only times I see 45+mpg is on motorways/A roads when the traffic is heavy. No idea how people get 50+mpg, unless they spend their time in the inside lane slipstreaming trucks

At 7k I'm guessing you're still picking fights with perky petrols...

Most of my driving is sat on the M62 with the cruise control on so I wouldn't expect 600 unless you're on the motorway a lot.

I think 540 seems to be the average.

Freewheelin' you have an Evo8, I'm not surprised.

Mpg

What sorta avg MPG do you guys/girls get when driving your Leon FR 150's and how much milage to a full tank usually

i managed to get the average to about 55MPG on the way to work today driving like a saint!

I have a 150 Cupra and get about 520 to a tank. Normal driving I get about 43, motorway about 55. My best yet on the M6 was 61 (Telford to Leeds). My car has about 11.5K miles on the clock - who knows, maybe it will get better

You could get a picture of it saying 120mpg average if you reset it just before going down a big hill!

That was the kind of mpg (50+) I was getting out of my Ibiza FR TDI after about 15k miles on the clock on a daily basis with very mixed driving.

Im only getting an average of about 43mpg at the minute with mixed driving, carriage-way and town but no Motorway and only the odd "spirited driving".

Over the last 1500 miles I have averaged 48 mpg (having now done 20k). This is a mixture of mways and town driving. Noticed around town economy really drops. Pretty happy all in all bearing in mind the performance on tap.

I did a 110 mile trip last weekend & got 52 mpg
