MPPS, EGR Map

I have been looking into using MPPS to map out the EGR. I have the vacumm line removed as to disable the EGR but need to map it out.

I'm not looking for power gains as I have an issue with my turbo overboosting so any generic map would cause further issues.

Anyone know how easy/difficult a process this is? I'm highly IT literate and know a little coding. My main concern is with bricking the ECU or causing further problems.

How come people don't swap remap files around like they did on the older VAG cars?

My ECU is likely to be a 1.9 TDI PD Bosch EDC16U34 K-Line/CAN which is suppostrwd by MPPS
