No its fine mate. There is a little pin hole in the top that allows air in which stop's the bottle crushing. And its fine with the heat as its been there for 2weeks now and its not melted. Lol

I am also not fond of the one I have. I mean its huge and I never use it anyway because when the liquid dries is causes stains on my paint/windows...
