I'm looking to upgrade my sidelights, dipped and main beam on my Mk 2 Leon FR and have seen MTEC bulbs online. They're fairly cheap compared to other brands so I was just wondering if anyone has or has had them. If so what do you think?

Also what colour would you recommend? I was looking at the cosmos blue as it gives a nice xenon effect.

Thanks!

Hi. I got mtech blue bulbs on my mk1 and I dont think they worth it mate. I mean they look really good and possibly are most closest looking to xenons but the light output is horrible. Driving at night in country road is a nightmare. Everytime im on country roads im just hoping for no other traffic so I could use my dipped beam. This is my experience mate having them for 3 weeks, now looking to order osram cool blue intense as them only 11 quid.

ive just put the osram cool blue in my mk5 and very happy with them, great light output (i drive on country roads alot so its needed) there not blue at all in my opinion but gives of a nice whitish light.
heres a quick pic not the best of quality but shows there whiteness -

I have had a set of super whites fitted for the last few days on my mk2, again they look nice and white but the output is terrible, only about 2 meters in front of the car and the beam seems to point straight down not really illuminating anything in front of me, at first I thought I must of somehow installed them wrong but other reviews pretty much say the same thing.
Think I will be taking them off and trying something else
