My 51 plate Mk1 leon tdi....cupra style!!

Hi all, well i thought that is was about time i showed off my leon which has done me proud on my many numerous road trips across england!! I also own a mk2 golf vr6 turbo 4wd and my other half drives a mk3 vr6 so we thought that we'd get a 'practical' car for the long journeys!!

So far, it has had a remap so it is running approx 150bhp as opposed to the 110bhp that it is standard, but the torque increase is immense!

I have it booked in at the bodyshop now for a cupra style facelift, but here is what it looked like last month..

I have now purchased the following for it:
Cupra rear bumper (2nd hand)
Cupra front bumper and all inserts brand new (ouch!!)
Cupra side skirts brand new (ouch again)
Teardrop wing mirrors (2nd hand)
Cupra starfish alloys with brand new tyres (£150!!! the guy had them on a mk4 golf and didnt know what they were worth!)
Cupra 20vt rear exhaust (2nd hand)
HID Xenon kit

Now i cant wait to get it back from the sprayers and enjoy its new lease of life once again!

Sorry guys for the lack of updates, but ive been busy with my mk2 vr6 haldex'd turbo conversion!! Anyway, the leon is nearly finished now, and wow...what a transformation!!! I will let the pics do the talking....

Not too sure yet...still need to keep the 'practicality' theory going!! The big money is going on the mk2 project!!

Just need to fit the grilles, etc and am now thinking about getting coilies for it to drop it just a little bit! Need to keep the practical aspect going!! Also, i have a cupra twin pipe rear box to 'modify' onto it as well to finish off the rear end!

With great difficulty!! I used the original locator clips supplied by seat but unlike the later MY01 models, there isnt a locator pin on the sill so i had to measure carefully and screw the clips in place!!
