Yes i think it would work, but get a second opinion incase, you might need to give it a few coats of normal black paint. Ask around on here for some of the more experienced members lol.

i always wanted a ibiza as my first car as i only passed in september but instead thought it would be too small and got a focus 1.4 instead which was black and i did the same as you i brought some black tints black alloys and my insurance was 2200 but the only diffrence was i was paying for car and insurance my self so consider yourself lucky.

I think clear indicator bulbs will make quite a big difference for a couple of quid, i'm going to try those next.
