well its been a while since i posted on here.

nothing has really changed to carms.

she had the service reminder thing come on and is due to get a well deserved service and mot.

then insurance - quite pleased tbh - gone down by £1000 so now only £1200 lol

but she aint had any problems or updates - everyone at uni aint really into the modding scene and i dont have the tools or parts or money to do much atm :(

Hey, just been looking at the ongoing projects and just wanna say that your car looks absolutely sick.

Seen all the pics through, seemed like a great improvement each time you modded it!
Loving the car.

I have a 1.4 Ibiza '03 myself, and am 17, and am hoping to mod it (although can't to the extent that you have as insurance will be pushing over £2500!!)

Looks wicked though mate, nice ;)

thanks mate thats really nice of you.

my insurance at 17 was £2200 with nothing declared so yer haha its hard!

i chose to only declare a few parts and it paid off for me becuase i have never been pulled (touch wood) and the only crash i had i managed to pay out of my own money!

do you have a readers ride thread??

ill take a look and keep checking on what your doing mate.

but thanks alot - its cost me alot of time, effort and begging friends (mazzerati mainly) to do bits for me haha

if your ever in or around york or staffordshire let me know and we will meet up for pics and so i can show you my baby properly :D

thanks once more and merry christmas

Yeah lol lucky you, saw that dent as well. I'm suprised you didn't physically kill the guy who did it.
I haven't got a thread yet, I'll create one when I pass my test which WILL be on the 10th January, because if I fail I'll kill myself (It'll be my first test, d/w I'm not a shite driver!)

But yeah. Atm it's had nothing done to it and is completely standard. It's in Glacier Blue and has standard 15" wheels which aren't anything special but are better than POS hubcaps than mates of mine have on their cars :p

I have similar plans to what you did though as regards to subtle modding so that insurance won't go up.
For Christmas I'm hopefully getting some light blue Ripspeed seat covers and seatbelt covers and I think I'm getting a small 50mm exhaust trim but I don't have a clue how I'll fit it because the exhaust curves down, and if I trim it to make the trim attatchable there'll hardly be any exhaust left... was only a £3 trim though ;)

Then sometime in the new year I'm hoping to get a sunstrip across the top with SEAT written in it - demongraphics on google sell them for about £13.00 I think, then I'll probably get a few stickers to go on rear panel windows and maybe an Alpine for the back window?

How do you get SCN stickers btw? I might get two small ones for the rear panel windows...

All stuff I get after Xmas will have to be funded by me though, which is a problem because I have no job...
Hopefully I'll get one in the new year, handed out about 15 CVs...

Anyway, thanks!
Merry Christmas to you too!

And btw did you say you were at Uni now?
What one if so?

http://www.thevinylstore.com/store/home.php?cat=3

and yer sound good - is your exhaust not a hidden one??

and let me know what seat covers look like - im not sure - i want red and black seats but dont know whether covers will look cheap yano.

its alot to add proper seats in though!!

Oh right fair enough, I'm probs off to uni next year.

Thanks for link, btw is your an internal or external sticker? what's the difference?
Yeah my exhaust is hidden which is annoying. Dunno how I'm gonna sort it out.

Yeah I know what you mean about seat covers - I saw them on the Halfords website for £23 so my girlfriend is getting me them for xmas.

There are some red covers as well for £26 I think if you wanted to take a look.

mine is external because of tints on interally. there isnt really a difference - just the way they stick on but if you are going to tint in future get external.

i got a full exhaust change for mine, new backbox and tip - but £180 not £3 lol so yer i dont know how you could do it - got to cut the bumper and fit them on. which is prerry hard and a long job.

ive seen the covers mate - thats what i mean, ive seen em and i aint so sure - get some pics uploaded when you have done it!!

where you from bud?

and yer with uni 0 - dont go to stafford haha - its pretty f dead and no women!!

Yeah might eventually get some tints on, ok cool. The stickers won't come off if they're external will they?

Damn you! Haha £180 . I don't even have that in the bank after buying the car. I think I got £30 atm!
Ah right fair one, yeah I'll upload some pics as soon as covers are on. I'm from Kent down south but am currently in Lincoln - we moved up here about 6 years ago so I'm not that far from York atm.
When you going back to Uni? Hopefully if I pass the test and get a job for some ££££££'s I'll be able to drive up and see your car, maybs do a photoshoot aswell if my car is looking nice!

LOL. I dunno what uni i'm off to. Probably Leicester or Manchester if I get in.
