My Altea 2.0 TDI SE from HELL

Thats right my Altea from HELL . believe me if I could Id bloody nuke the f****kn car .

This is my story.

I have an Altea 2.0 tdi (140) Specail Edition with an 07 plate and I have had the following problems but one is just driving me absolutely CRAZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZY !!

1. Passanger door could not be opened from outside - fixed by dealer

2. Rear washer pipe went apart and washer liquid stained my rear ceiling - fixed by me cause couldn bother to go to dealer

3. My clock keeps adding +1 hours to the time every three days or so- not fixed by dealer they just adjust the clock and most probably they think im nuts

4. Tyre pressure sensors keep going off for no aparrent reason even when tyres are fully inflatted

5. Turbo hoses went apart from intercooler - fixed by dealer

6. lower engine cowling ripped apart and lefte me stranded on M6 toll until AA came to the rescue

7. Complete turbo change after 40k miles ( last week)

8. And finally the worst of all thats completly driving me INSANE is the ...... ALARM .

This alarm just goes off for no reason whatsoever and cant be turned off neither by remote control key and NOT EVEN IF YOU START THE ENGINE AND START DRIVING !!!

I cant sleep cause it goes off at night, I am having problems with my neighbers, I have been stopped TWICE by the cops cause they thaught I was nicking the car, I cant go anyware without the F*****kn thing going off. IF ONLY I CAN TURN THE DAMM THING OFF !!

I have taken the car 4 times to the stealers , and the siren has been changed and the internal sensors changed twice .

PLEASE CAN SOMEONE HELP ME CAUSE IM GONNA KILL MY ALTEA !!!

did you buy it new?
Take it back to dealer and demand refund (clearly not fir for purpose) or properly sorted with PROOF that everything works.

yes I brought it from new ! Do you really think that they will give me my money back ? its got 41k miles on it !

Probably not! but threaten them with it! tell them you want a courtesy car,and don't want to see the Altea until ALL the above is fixed properly!

I have sent an email to head office and they have replied and actually phoned me to appologise for any inconvenience caused. They promised to look into it and said they will request a full report to be made and sent to the head team of VW and Seat from the dealers in Coventry !

So got my car booked in for Wednesday and they will give me a curtisoy car too.

So lets see whats gonna happen now !

Hope all goes well, take a firm stance and let it be known that a month trial period will be given when car is given back to make sure problems are sorted. Any issue on extended warranty to cover you as an act of apology?

thanks ! Extended warranty sounds good ! I think I deserve it after all Ive been put through. I have the tel number of the bloke that phoned me and I will mention it . Cheers !
