Even when it misfires it still seems to boost up to normal levels . And i don't know if this matters but it been remapped .
Please help .

Ive never worked on them but at a guess unplug them individually and see if there is any dirrerence... if you find you unplug one and there is no difference it must be that one
also can someone pm me a link to these bargin coil packs thanx

Unplug each coil pack one at a time, and start the engine each time. It sounds like one pack of your coils is blown so you are running on three cylinders.

So you should find that unplugging any of the good ones will make the car worse and it will probably stall (as you are now running on two cylinders). But when you unplug the faulty coil there will be no change (as your are still running on three cylinders).

If your car is less then 5 years old then SEAT will replace the coil for free as its under an extended 5yr warranty. Just call them and tell them. You may find that now one has gone, the other three may follow suit in the coming months :(

If your car is more than 5yrs old then check out that link above as they are only £12! Which is very cheap!

I'm pretty sure they are the right ones, but i would double check. I know they are the latest revision 'L' which is good! :)

Hi guys, I've found out whats wrong with my car . I phoned jabba sport today and they have told me that it's my spark plugs that are at fault !
When my car had done 40000 miles SEAT didn't change the spark plugs so i decided in my wisdom that i'd change them for a set of irdium plugs that are supposed to the dogs bits . It turns out according to jabba sport that you should only use SEAT NGK platinum plugs . I still had my old plugs so i've put them back in my car tonight and the car now runs fine again :D .

I dont know why they told you that  There are sh*tloads of people using other brand plugs in their cars without problems

Glad you got the problem sorted though.

Denso Iridium IK22's work well in mine.
Std plugs spluttered and misfired.

IK22's on closer gap stopped all that.

Trialed some new Cz plugs from Brisk which worked fine out of the box with no misfire, but had some weird running on idle...

Got some different Brisk plugs to try when I get a mo.

A promising performance plug for tuned 1.8T's
