Hello i have only done a few subtle things so far.. tints, strut brace, lcr splitter, pipercross induction kit, red front s badge surround. I am wanting to put a nice suspension kit on it probably H&R cup kit, and as i have just ordered cupra mirrors i am thinking get the wheels done in black, i like the black on the red the windows made a massive difference!!

This car gets cleaned so much like no other lol...

lets see if the links work its a first time people, post any ideas and see what you think of the little things i have done so far.. also got a vid of the noise inside the car with windows up the induction noise is noticeable.. cheers

Alright fella. Wouldn't be suprised if this gets moved into the readers rides section ;)!

Got the same motor as you, but in black. You're pipercross sounds sweet, just wondered which one you've got as i've got one too, but replaced it with a green filter because of heat soak!
I think the cupra mirrors will look pretty good, even more so if you were to paint calipers the same black along with the bump strips?

I will have to find the receipt for that i got it off a mate who works for a parts factor. The calipers are a great idea and i am thinking of maybe doing them when my wheels get done.
Cant afford anything untill after xmas now though:(. I have spoken to some mates who are painters and they recon painting the bump strips may just flake and need doing agen in a year or so. Have you got any pics of your motor?

Yeah red car and black wheels looks nice mate.....

yep finally posting lol. I will eventually get them done by the place that comes to collect wheels at my place and i may be able to customize them a little to how i like them. Not sure what to do though they can do anything:confused:.

I do like the idea of white wheels but i definetly prefer the black wheels on the fr prefacelift alloys. That looks really nice though mate, cant wait to get mine slammed just got to look out for the bumps when i have done that.

I got the tints done by someone who was tinting an X5 at the time he charged me £130.

One more thing that has to be done is the rear spacers i think that is one of my favourite mods looking at peoples mk4s on here.

Any other ideas on what i could do with the wheels...

If you wanting to lower it id lok at coilovers rather than springs and matched dampers. Can get them for a similar price and yo have the added bonus of adjustability. Just fitted FK's to mine and its made a massive difference to the handling.

Yeah the black ones were good as didnt need to clean them often, and when I did a quick blast and they looked clean

White however is a different story, but imho the pictures dont show just how good they are in white, in person they are sexual ;)

i do like the idea of coilovers very much but not sure if i would need to change the height all the time. Are they not trouble trying to set them all up equally??

What coilovers would you reccomend i was looking at spending just over £500 on shocks and springs

I run these on mine. No trouble to me and ride height was no troble to set to be fair. Could imagine therears could be but i just dropped them as far as they would go on both sides and its not too low.

They are height adjustable and also have six damping settings.
Another recent favourite on here has been the weitec ones but not had experience of them myself so cannot say.

From what I've seem on here springs never lower the back enough as it so so damn high on the ibiza! Who collects the wheels at your work could be the same company they collect from all sorts of places that make out they are doin the work! They go to the Porche garage in Burgess hill and do their wheels.

To be perfectly honest if anything id say mine feels slighly better. yes it may be slightly firmer but its really not that bad. When my mate had a ride in mine the other day he couldnt believe how good the ride was for a car as low as mine. Your best bet is find someone on here local to you with coilovers and get them to take you out in there car. You'll be pleasantly supprised at the ride quality i reckon.

Lepsons Wicked wheel do there's all well! As long as you get a good price go for it I am so happy with mine. I've never actually been in a car with coilovers never actually been for a ride in any members cars at meets as we just chat. Some coilovers are harsh I have heard I am worried about this too as I find the ride in my car harsh as it is!

i dont think mine is too harsh at the moment but you never know what it will be like i suppose. After xmas i will start to do things like that.

I have done the mirrors now they look ok but wish i had the money to get other stuff done!!
