Well in reply to my question in the Revo Section:

"That's not a problem!

The software has the switchability built into it, when you buy the SPS it can be setup to suit your car (if it needs to be) but it won't effect the functionality of the switch having the software now and the switch later! "

So looks like it'l be fine :D

Quick update, car's gone off for the service, 2 and a half hours late... Hoping to get it back today as due to unforeseen circumstances i can longer film on set tomorrow due to the backdrop failing to be delivered on time, so this has meant that i've moved the Revo to tomorrow, also depending if it arrives the bov spacer should also be fitted!

Yeah the SPS switch is smart. It takes about 30 seconds first time you use it to set up the unit, after that, you select the setting on the switch plug in the OBD port and beepbeepbeep its done in less than a second!

Had just convinced myself that i was going to stretch and get the switch. However i've just had a quote through from a local body shop on the repairs to my car. £750+VAT.... Must admit that's more than i was expecting so thats £160 for the service, £352 for the Revo, £50 for the spacer this week plus the repair...

Christmas dinner's going to be a pop tart this year by the looks of things

Approx cost of repairs is £730 + vat - this includes renewing wing - repair to rhf bumper and blending, Rh door - i suspect the rh headlamp may be broken

Finally got my car back from the service and the headlights have some serious condensation on them, covering the entire light.... Never had any condensation problems with the car so far so wondering what they did during the service to make this happen..

I know it's so frustrating if only the maintenance lot around here had got their asses into gear and gritted the car park i wouldn't be in this situation. I'm not getting it done straight away as i simply can't afford to, but i hate driving her around in this state!

The problem is at that price it's weighing up claiming it on insurance or not. I don't know why but i was expecting it to be a couple of hundred.

edit: On another note, it does seem that the forge induction kit makes the emission light come on every now and again. It seems a bit random but have noticed it come on after some 'heavy' driving. It's quite annoying seeing as i paid so much for it and it's causing this problem. I'm going to talk to forge later on today if everything goes well.

Well it took absolutely ages to sort out the problems with my original boc. Hundreds of phone calls and visits to three different Stealers but it was all worth it in the end! Last week i managed to return the boc for a cheque. After what felt like the longest week of my life i have finally got the new boc :)

Finally met Techie after speaking for a month, great to be able to put a face to the name.

The car drives like a dream, already a marked improvement on the mpg proving that the issues i had were clearly causing efficiency issues on top of everything else. Only frustrating thing is that it was raining and spraying like mad on the drive back so she's already a bit mucky :( Got to get used to having a white car though i suppose! The battery ran out on my DSLR so for now here's a couple of shots from my phone (although i know you've probably seen dozens of photos of the car from before lol but i couldn't help myself).
