first of all, many thx for the explanation.

there's a lot of people with vw cars in here so you won't be thrown out, you're welcome!

I'd like a vnt 15/17 hybrid cos I drive the city all the time and very few outside town trips so driveability is a big issue, I can't stand any lag, when I want power, it has to be there!

Why you say a hybrid 15/17 is not good? the compressor wheel is of the 17 so it should be ok if I raise boost to, say, 1.3 bar, not?

As for the IC I thought of the stock 130 one, it's not that big, should fit quite easily and it goes ok with remapped 130s so it could go ok on my car,,,

what do you think?

Hello..

I do not visit these pages too often, so sorry for my late response.

Regarding the hybrid. I would rather use stock PD130 (or PD150 turbo, as it is the best, what you can get for your TDI engine and mount without complications). It is more effective, and I think, the lag is insignificant. Quite comparable to vnt15. There is no need to be affraid. :)

PD130 IC .. not too good. Quite small. But it depends, what power you want. Maybe it could be enough for your purpose.

But if I shall compare to PD150 - it is uncomparable! PD150 IC is one of the most effective.

For instance. I tuned PD130 engine to 180hp. With stock PD130 IC we were getting air temperatures over 90°C!!! - very fast.
After PD150 IC install, the temperatures doesn't go over 35-40°C all the time, and we can boost more (within these temperatures). It is really big difference.

ok, thanx for the suggestions,,,

yes, the 130 IC could be good, I don't want to boost more than 1.3/1.4 which is what the stock 130 engine does so it should be ok. not?

one more question, ain't dieselpower.cz the company which did the black leon that beat the ferrari in that infamous drag race?

Very nice! :D Interesting to see the Furby vRS turbo bolts straight on!

Stew, they are MK2 wheels, they're the same as mine :)
